Balancing What You Carry: The glass, plastic, and crystal ball exercise for sorting what you carry, and what you can afford to set down.
Everything on your plate right now is a ball in the air, some are glass, some are plastic, and it's easy to lose track of which is which. This exercise gives you a simple way to sort what you're currently carrying: what actually breaks if you drop it, and what can bounce and be picked back up later without lasting harm.
It also walks through what happens when a crystal ball enters the picture, a major life event that reorders everything else, and gives you space to re-sort your list in light of it. Often what looked like glass turns out to be plastic once something truly weighty arrives, and seeing that shift clearly can be its own kind of relief.
Print it out or fill it in on screen, and bring what you notice into your next session.
